Blogs from the NYTimes

There's a fairly useful page over at the New York Times about blogs. The page, Blogs 101, provides a set of "Collection & Rankings" blogs, and then categories of blogs by subject.

On an interesting note the author writes:

"This page is under development; feel free to suggest your own finds."

And, there's no subject heading for "Health." Perhaps you'll send in your own, or a classmate's, blog? Something to aim for.

Thank you for the heads up on this. The blog world seems quite big. A whole new tech space has been created. Interesting and a bit overwhelming.

I wonder why there's no heading for "Health"? The New York Times even has a section dedicated to health in their periodical on occassion.
It's amazing how quickly this world of blogging seems to have taken off. It's such a new world for me. Guess I'll have to keep practicing.

Now I understand that blogging is actually the people's foothold in the door of the internet. This is exactly what we are studying, to create our own park in cyberworld, rather than having stuff pushed at us. Blogging takes back the internet from policy makers and commercial entities and helps us connect and to be heard.
